Unfortunately it looks like I have fallen victim to identify theft, specifically a Equipment Rental Scam.

Scammers are pretending to be me, renting gear under my business’ name, and then stealing the gear. They also are getting a legit COI from an insurance company, also under my name. Fun.

I do not rent gear, and I do not need insurance certificates for rental gear.

If someone is claiming to be me, looking to rent gear from you, or asking for a gear rental insurance certificate, do not rent to them, and do not issue them a certificate.
