Lola & Paul’s June Farms Wedding
How We Met
We’re high school sweethearts! Paul moved back to our hometown from Massachusetts when we were both sophomores in high school. After a few chats on & off over the next few years, we officially started dating early senior year. We went to prom together & have been inseparable ever since!
Out Engagement Story
We live on the Croton Aqueduct trail that runs for miles along the Hudson River. We have a loop that we ride on our bikes all the time. It passes by the Lyndhurst Mansion. So when it was finally time for Paul to pop the question, Lola thought we were just going for a classic ride. Little did she know that he’d ask right by the river. It was just the two of us and it was perfect. Tears were shed, and the rest of the bike ride was even more special!
Marriage to us means…
That nothing major changes. As long as we continue to support & make time for eachother, we’ll be happy. Besties for life!
How did you choose June Farms?
We wanted a place where we could have more than just one evening event. Being able to bring our friends & family together for a weekend was so special. June Farms properties were perfect!
A memorable moment from our wedding was…
Hearing Randi (pauls mom) give a speech for us. She’s so fun and special to both of us! It was also funny that when it was time to really dance, we broke out a huge sound box to really get the party going!
If I could give other couples to be one piece of advice…
Weddings are supposed to be fun, but planning can be such a strain! Keep it light, compromise every day. Everyone will be there to celebrate you so it’s so important that your happiness comes first
