M&D Farm Wedding Venue, Westerlo NY

I’m always flattered when couples defer to me for recommendations, often before they even have a venue or date. But more than any other category, I struggle recommending wedding venues, as it’s not often a couple feels the space is truly them, and there aren’t any amazing locations that are kept secret.

Often it’s a back-and-forth about the amenities they’re looking for, the energy of the space, what they want their guests to experience, or some combination thereof. And a lot of the time, the venue ends up being one that just works, and is happy to host the celebration, but still ultimately lacking a connection.

When I heard about M&D Farm opening as a wedding venue in Westerlo (which is right outside of Albany), I was so happy to have this amazing space so close to home. I stopped by for a little get-together they were hosting and took some photos around the grounds, in the woods, and inside the beautiful farmhouse.
