Photography is important to me as a way to celebrate and remember the communities I am and was part of. In looking back through all my boxes of 4x6s, their meaning has changed over time. From funny and exciting to gut-wrenchingly nostalgic and bitter-sweet. People, places, things, and times you miss, but are happy to have been there.
