Caroline & Colin’s 408 Saratoga Wedding
How We Met
We fell in love at first swipe! We met on the dating app Bumble! We fell in love over beer, game of thrones, skiing, laughter and not taking life so seriously.
Our Engagement Story
Collin wanted to do a big thing! So he took me down to Punta Cana. We had a cocktail at the bar upon arrival and the bartenders were asking if it was our honeymoon… of course I sadly said no but little did I know that he had the ring in his pocket! We walked around the resort and there was this duck pond and as Collin got down on one knee to ask me about 100 ducks came and converged on us (they thought he had bread to give them) I quickly said yes and we booked it away from the duck attack! Later that evening to celebrate we were going to enjoy the beach were we realized that Collin had forgotten his swim suit he was so nervous but at least he remembered the ring!
Marriage to us means…
Marriage is something to always be grateful for. We believe it’s something that you build for and work hard for. Something that you want to live the best life possible for.
How did you choose your venue/location?
We wanted something that would be the party spot! We wanted the best food and drinks. And the 408 was just our vibe!
A memorable moment from our wedding was…
There was a point in our vows and I looked at Collin and everything was still and I thought that in this moment I just just made a core memory. I had never been happier I had never felt so loved and I was so sure that Collin was the one for me.
If I could give other couples to be one piece of advice…
Never worry and just take a step back. It goes by so fast and you should stand at the edge of the dance floor with your partner and see! Like truly see how many people love you both and how much those people tailored you guys to become the couple that you are. Those people showed up and are showing you what love is!
