Nicolette & Max’s Basilica Hudson Wedding

Nicolette and Max got married at Basilica Hudson, and they embraced the industrial charm of the former factory space. Their design worked with the scale instead of covering it up, so the steel and the light did half the work for them. The ceremony was just across the street on the Hudson River, under a willow in Rick’s Point Park for a bit of time outdoors before the celebration began.

Jeanne of Hudson Valley Ceremonies kept the day on rails without it ever feeling rigid. Local 111 catered, and the Asian-influenced menu was such a treat. Hal Prince Band played live, and the dance floor ate it up.

With the hard part done months ago, Nicolette and Max got to experience their day as it happened around them. It is the closest thing I have to a rule about wedding photos: plan a day you will genuinely enjoy, and the photos follow on their own.
