Rachel & Kelly’s Arrowood Farms Wedding Reception

Kelly and Rachel got married at Manhattan City Hall, then headed upstate for a relaxed wedding reception at Arrowood Farms in Accord, New York. Instead of packing the day with wedding traditions and a rigid timeline, they chose a celebration that gave them time to hang out, eat, play, and actually enjoy being with their family and friends. It was a beautiful day at a favorite Hudson Valley Brewery, with incredible light in their cut-your-own flower rows and an overall chilled out atmosphere that made the entire evening feel easy and fun.

Because Kelly and Rachel are both huge board game fans, Kelly created a game that got everyone involved. Guests met and talked with people they might not have connected with otherwise, which was such a thoughtful way to bring their favorite people together and maybe even help form a few new friendships. Pizza Moto served excellent wood-fired pizza, ice cream sandwiches from Cherries added the perfect local Catskills touch, and the night continued with late-night skating at Skate Time in Accord.

Their Arrowood Farms wedding reception was proof that a wedding can feel meaningful without being packed with wedding “stuff”. Pick a beautiful place, invite the people you love, and leave enough room to have a genuine great time together.
