November 3rd, 2021. 2 years to the date that we said I love you to each other for the first time. He proposed after work, on a Wednesday, at home…very unsuspecting. He made fried chicken and waffles, which is what we ate 2 years earlier when we said I love you.

How did you choose your venue/location?
I saw the backdrop of the mountains in a photo many, many years ago and never forgot it. When we got engaged, I looked the place back up.

If I could give other couples to be one piece of advice…
Weddings have been taking place since the beginning of time and because of that there are thousands of traditions and molds to conform to…create your own wedding mold and do what feels right to you. And book a venue that you get for the whole weekend – you will appreciate the time spent with close family and it elongates the experience and memory.
