Marissa+Stephen’s Catskills Couples Session

Marissa+Stephen had a few ideas for their engagement photos. The first one was on a mountain with an overlook, as their first date in Colorado was a hike with a fire tower and an overlook. As quickly as I read the idea, I knew where we were going.

A little bit of bad luck with the weather and scheduling had us hiking up the mountain in the rain while everyone else was coming down the trail. We had our fingers crossed hoping the rain passes and the sun comes back out.

Sometimes you take a chance, and it pays off in ways you couldn’t have imagined.
