Michaela & Max’s Summer Mountain Top Resort Vermont Wedding
Michaela and Max were married at Mountain Top Resort in Chittenden, Vermont, with a ceremony overlooking the lake and Green Mountains. It’s one of those venues where the landscape changes throughout the day, from soft morning light around the cabins to wide mountain views during the ceremony and warm light across the patio for cocktail hour.
One of my favorite parts of the day was how relaxed everything felt. Michaela and Max built plenty of time into their schedule to be with family and friends instead of rushing from one event to the next, which made for a lot of natural moments throughout the day. After the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio overlooking the mountains before the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck arrived, a fun Vermont tradition that fit the setting perfectly.
Mountain Top Resort is an incredible location for a wedding in Vermont. Between the mountaintop ceremony site, lakeside views, cabins, and open landscapes, there are great photo opportunities throughout the property without ever needing to leave the venue.
If I could give other couples to be one piece of advice…
Take in every moment. As cliché as it sounds, the day goes by so fast. Be present, try to relax, and remember everyone is there for you.
How We Met
We met at work. It was 2020 and we were both starting our first big jobs after completing school.
