Michelle & Max’s Franklin Plaza Wedding

Michelle and Max’s wedding was the brimming with of effortless elegance and joy, a celebration where everyone reveled in each other’s company. Franklin Plaza, with its beautiful ambiance was the perfect venue for a winter wedding, offering a cozy and picturesque backdrop for their wedding day. Despite the chill in the air, we made sure to capture the warmth and love of the day by popping outside for short moments together. From the laughter to the tears of joy, every moment was a testament to their love and brand new marriage. Congratulations to these two on having such a perfect first day of their marriage.

How We Met

We met through mutual friends over 8 years ago! We reconnected at the end of 2020 on a dating app.

Our Engagement Story

Max proposed on a snowy morning in Lake Placid, right off the frozen lake. I was very surprised!! We spent the rest of the day getting brunch at the breakfast club, relaxing at the mirror lake inn spa, and enjoying hot toddy’s at the cottage.

Marriage to us means…

Working together to create a happy and successful life for ourselves and the ones we love. Growing old and learning together, and supporting one another during our happiest and darkest moments.

How We Met

We met on Tinder in Summer 2017 and messaged back and forth for a month before Christine eventually agreed to meet in person. On our first date, we did tequila shots and ate dollar slices of pizza in a West Village park while people watching. It was the first of many nights with tequila, pizza, and gossiping. The next date was two days later, and the rest is history.

How did you choose your venue?

We wanted a venue that could fit everyone we love, and provide us with a low stress day. Franklin Plaza did an amazing job making us and our guests feel welcome. We just wanted everyone to have an amazing time!

If I could give other couples to be one piece of advice…

Pick vendors that you feel comfortable with and confident in. This will make your day as low stress as possible! Trust your gut and work with the people you want to work with! That is what we did and everything was absolutely incredible.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped this day be so smooth!
